Can't eat this cookie

with ccleaner, if you go into options, cookies, you can select what to keep or delete.

OK.

Have downloaded and cleared out 47mb of stuff, but the offending item is still in temp int. file.

I did uncheck a lot of areas that I wasn't sure of, but definately the temp int. box was checked.

Have I picked up something nasty?

The standard setup of CCleaner is absolutely safe on deleting cookies .
Though you may well find you have to log in to some sites as you have deleted their cookie .
