Htc hd7
Options
Hi All,
I'm not new to phone contracts but I have been lucky and got my i8910 last year for free via the Orange contract change loophole. I have decided that I would like the new HTC HD7 and am already an O2 customer on a Simplicity 1 Month contract and have been for a year with my i8910.
Does anybody know of any ways I can get the HD7 on a cheaper contract (18 Month)? I am happy to pay up to £100 for the phone as O2 website states £120 for my old phone. I did notice that the O2 'Standard 18 Month' can include 500Mb data and the equivelent package is £5 less than the 'Smartphone 18 Month' (I don't need WiFi) but the website doesn't let you select this as an option with that phone.
As i've only been with them for a year, would retentions be any good and if so does anybody know the number? The main issue with this is that the HD7 is exclusive to O2, but the Samsung Omnia 7 looks very good also on Orange. - Use this as a bargaining chip?
Thanks in advance,
James
