"Subscribe to thread" problem?

Could you click here, find the thread on the list and see if it says "instant" in the notification column?

The subscription system can be complicated because there is a "default subscription" setting in the user options which does not affect the subscriptions that are already on this list.

Yes, it does say instant for the "Martin's Broadcast Appearance List" thread. Still no email

I've also subscribed to this thread, and it says "None" against it.

Hmm. Well I've now been through the options and changed the default to instant. That default must have been affecting my earlier subscriptions, surely - I had a default of "none" but the sub for "instant", and the result was I didn't get any emails.
