Don't want to appear cheeky here, but this is gonna come up more often. Is there anybody who would be kind enough to write me a small excel file and mail it to me with the formula already input, so I just have to input the following:
Side A (Left side)
Side B (Right side)
Bottom line
I hope someone will be kind enough...

1091 & 1313
Which is correct????0 -
I got mine wrong
Are you aware that your second triangle isn't right angled though?0 -
Cut the triangle in half (in the middle) and call that side d, this makes it into a right-angled triangle. Apply pythagoras's..
http://www.analyzemath.com/Geometry_calculators/pythagorean.html
So, Hypotenuse (side opposite the right angle) = a =1435 mm
Other side = c/2 =2030mm = 1015 mm
Making the other side (d) = 1014.39636 mm or 1014.4 mm to 1 dp

Why are you lot doing someones' homework?
It is not as if someone hasn't already given them the complete workings out & theory so all the need to do is substitute numbers & use a calculator....Not Again0 -
