I cannot believe how many people are quick to judge others! The baby UGG is more like a slipper than a shoe! I cannot see the harm in putting that on an 8 month old! She is not walking and therefor proper support is not an issue. My little one wore pram shoes to keep his feet warm in the winter, does that make me a bad mother? I do agree 100% that when they start to walk they need proper support and fitting, hence why I went with Start-rite!0

DecoSparkle wrote: »Blah11, are you actually qualified to state they won't do any harm? If not that's a rather dangerous assertion. Princesswoo is right that the advice is to put NO shoes on babies until they are actually walking as ill-fitting ones can cause their feet to be misshapen before they've had chance to form properly. Hence why Clarks won't sell you cruiser shoes until your baby is cruising. To avoid damage that lasts a lifetime, stick with warm socks until they really need shoes-and even then avoid uggs as podiatrists have declared them very unsupportive to developing feet. I know my child would look adorable in them but I will resist to avoid blighting him with knee and back problems later in life.
The infant Uggs are like slippers like a previous poster said. They don't even have hard soles (same softness as clarks crawlers) so yes, quite confident that it will cause no issues later on in life.0 -
The sunflower Uggs are lovely, i bought a pair last year. They are more of a sand colour than yellow as they state. Really good value for money at over £100 off!
Just ordered a pair for my mum for Christmas too, thank you OP, cheap Uggs are :j:beer::T :rotfl:0
