She Doesnt walk yet, so does it really matter that they arn't from Clarks, is this the 21st century ? Rather pay 30 pound for Good quality than £5 from Tesco that are rubbish quality and lasts 1 day! Each to there own.0

:eek::eek:
I totally agree with Princesswoo!
I thought a shoe was just a shoe when it came to children.
Then when my daughter was actually ready for shoes, I didn't realise all the different sizes and widths.
Please wait and get her feet measured properly!!
They will probably be on sale next year anyway... and by then you will know your daughter's actual size.
It's not worth damaging your child's feet!0 -

Shouldn't your duty to safeguard your daughter's development outweigh your inclination to use her as a fashion accessory ?0 -
I have a pair of UGG and they are size US9/UK7.5 on the box. Should I order Size 7 or 8?0

My daughter has very small and narrow feet so we had to go to an independant store to get her first shoes.. £62 later..!
Anyway, her baby is 8 months old, not walking so why does it matter? I didn't get cruisers until she was 14 months old and she didnt take her first unaided steps until 17 months old! You'll be fine to get them for her, take no noticeAslong as you dont make her wear them 24/7 (only outside to keep her warm) it wont affect her feet or anything. Just don't be too disappointed when they dont fit by christmas lol

Blah11, are you actually qualified to state they won't do any harm? If not that's a rather dangerous assertion. Princesswoo is right that the advice is to put NO shoes on babies until they are actually walking as ill-fitting ones can cause their feet to be misshapen before they've had chance to form properly. Hence why Clarks won't sell you cruiser shoes until your baby is cruising. To avoid damage that lasts a lifetime, stick with warm socks until they really need shoes-and even then avoid uggs as podiatrists have declared them very unsupportive to developing feet. I know my child would look adorable in them but I will resist to avoid blighting him with knee and back problems later in life.0
