I think its because some people work hard on ebay, taking nice pictures, editing/cropping them, uploading them etc.. then some people come along and get a free ride by jus copying and pasting...

As a frequent buyer I also judge the quality of an item from the picture, if an item was sent to me and it was totally different quality than the picture, I'd send it back. It makes no difference what the item is and if it's like a hundred other items on Ebay you shouldn't be so lazy as to copy someone else's photo.

Jarvissa: I agree with the other advice here you should send a polite message first, then report them if you don't hear anything, this person is profiting from your item and it is impolite more than anything
    Nice to save.

hopefully not directed at me and michaela...it's called humour...hence my light hearted bit and her lol bit...... he said smilingly!

I can understand some peeps getting upset if they spend time and effort making a really nice pic to help sell their item...only to find someone has lifted it for their own ad. A quick e-mail to eBay....preferably with the link to your own advert ( to illustrate what you're on about ) usually gets the problem resolved sharpish.

...........this is why i host my own pictures and substitute them for something along the lines of (delete where applicable) gay donkey !!!!!!.

no, it´s not right, but, it does give a wonderful giggle when you email the auction to your friends, and then, plenty of "ask seller a question" fun to be had also!

Sometimes its just not funny to point out someone elses mistake on a public forum and then try to pass it off as a joke.
