hd freeview help

We have just bought the Humax HDR Fox T2 freeview box, we have installed it twice but we are stlill unable to get the free hd channels. Anyone any ideas? We have checked our refion and its available

    Are you using a properly aligned rooftop aerial? If so, could you previously get proper Freeview SD reception on it?

    Is your aerial pointing at the transmitter that is broadcasting HD? some area's can get reception from more than one transmitter.
