I wouldnt recommend the A4 B&B, not that I've stayed there but I thought it was more of a dossers B&B.
I had forgotten about the Black Castle pub, yes its open again and does nice cheap meals, there are a selection of meals that are 2 for £7.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0 -

Just googled B&B's Brislington, this one is about a 10 minute walk from the Paintworks:
http://www.woodstockguesthouse.org/
and has good reviews, although you would need to get a bus or a taxi from bus depot. Not as cheap as I was expecting £65 for 2 per night, alternatively you could stay not far from the bus depot at The Future Inn Cabot Circus, this is £75 per night excluding breakfast - the plus side is that you are in the centre and there are loads of places to eat at Cabot Circus.
Unfortunately Bristol is quite expensive a place to stay for a couple of nights.0 -
the cheapest i have found so far is the Travel lodge on the
harborside on anchor rd and its is 52 a night for the nights that you want
you can walk to the bottom of Park st and get the bus that goes to the paintworks also you are right on the waterfront opposite the ss great britian and you can walk up Park st or get the bus at the bottom to go up to cliffton and the gorge and the downs ect
Park st has lots of bars and resturants you also have all the new bars and resturants along the waterfront
also Brandon Hill/Park where the john cabot tower is and the bristol cathedral and college green is all within mins walk away
Bristol’s City Museum & Art Gallery is also at the top of park st this is where banksy had his exhibition last year and this is also within easy walking distance of the travelodge and the city center ibis
Plenty of stuff to do in this area and safe as well
Ibis temple meads is 124
cityabode which is a one bed apartments right opposite the hippodrome in the city center is 150
ibis city center /waterfront is 135 this is overlooking the waterfront near the ss great britain and close to the travel lodge
premier inn on KING ST Is near aqua resturant and the waterside is 144 ( and they do a really nice breakfast
from all of these hotels you can also walk to the city center or to the train station from here and get a bus to paintworks0 -
The Woodstock B&B mentioned above looks good and perfect location for the walk to or from Deal or no Deal. I never knew about the Future Inn at Cabot circus but if it was me I would love to stay there in the middle of everything.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

the future inns are really really nice i stayed in the one in cardiff bay and have been in one of the room in the bristol one when a friend stayed there recently
the beds are huge and they also have suites availible with a seperate living room for 80 quid
they are reasonably priced for a city center hotel as cheap as 50 pounds sometimes and the bristol is right opposite cabot circus and cafe rouge house of frazer ect plus you get free wifi and the bar /resturant is good as wellThe Woodstock B&B mentioned above looks good and perfect location for the walk to or from Deal or no Deal.
