T-Mobile CONTRACT v MOORCROFT

Options
Hi all

I am due to pay my final payment to Moorcroft at the and of this month. (got a huge bill so unfortunatley it got passed to Moorcroft) I receive letters from both Moorcroft and T-Mobile confirming monthly what my owed debt is. This will be cleared this month. Can anyone please confirm whether once I have paid my balance T-Mobile will cancel my contract with them even though it is not due to end untill December (and I want to carry it on after this also).

Any help appreciated

Thanks

If you've just paid off a big bill and not the contract termination fee as well they'll just take the blocks off your sim and the contract will carry on. If you have paid off the termination fee then you're done with it.

What was arranged with T at the time?
  • I have been paying monthly amounts for 4 months. Nothing was agreed with T-Mobile at the time I just paid Moorcroft. On my last bill from T-Mobile i received last week I noticed it had on early ''Termination amount - £14'' showing. This is the only time this has showed!! Does this mean I cant now cary my contract on??

    Thanks

Looks like it, you're best giving them a call, they might take you back, perhaps with a deposit

As your still in contract they will re-instate the line once the payment is recieved but note that it can take up to 10 days for moorcroft to pass the payment on to t-mobile.

When I worked for them a year ago there was no charge to reconnect.
