Hi there.
i am in the middle of buying my first house with my future Mrs P. i just wondered if anyone could give me advice with regards bills.. i have researched how much they will cost etc but wondered where am i best going for gas, electricity, water and all other rates i will be needing! any/all info greatly recieved! .. help! where do i start?

Both my sister and I are with Southern Electric / Gas and they seem to offer some of the cheapest rates around at the moment. However, always ask about discounts. We pay a fixed amount by direct debit each month and get a discount for doing so.
Its difficult for you to use any of the utility price comparison engines....as you don't have a bill to use for your useage.
One starting point could be to find out who are supplying the house at the moment and then simply use them at first. When you have your first bills you can then start to shoop around after you know how much you are using.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move
