Upgrade Time but Orange not budging

I have two accounts with Orange and have done for about 6yrs, I have just rang up about upgrading and they are having non of it like they normally do, i was offered no discounts, and told to pay full price for the iphone 4, got a feeling i will be leaving Orange this time, anyone got any advice? only really after iphone4 or Nokia N8

iPhones carry no loyalty discount or h/set price reduction. Full price or nothing at all. Same with the others.

You may get a deal on an N8, but not on an iPhone, its Apple that set the price the networks just do what their told.

Incorrect, Apple are not allowed to dictate to operators about price plans. However, their products cost the operators 3 times (at least) as much to buy in as most other phones, so they cannot afford to offer any deals.

While that's true to a degree, anyone that discounts Apple price's will soon find they get no more stock. Also it's known they place a 'don't not rock the boat' clause in their contracts.

cheers guys, think i might wait til the n8 launches i was told 22nd but as always things get put back hopefully next week :-)
