timer for an electric heater

Thanks albyota that is actually the perfect switch for the towel rail in my bathroom! I keep forgetting to switch it off.

Do you know if these are available with a 24 hour timer or similar?

One last thing! Is it possible to get something like an electronic room thermostat.

so i can say have a timer on it if i need be or i can just over ride it and choose 20 degrees and it will maintain the temperature at that.

Similar to how a traditional boiler thermostat works?

My parents have an imersion heater Horstmann E7 timer on which the clock is running slowly. If I replace it like for like will I be ok to replace it myself without the Part P sign off etc? It's in their airing cupboard in their bathroom.

Replacement of existing is not notifiable under Part Pee.
