Do you have any web creation software at the moment? For instance, Microsoft Frontpage as part of MS Office?0

I don't know what you've already done or what techie skill sets you've got but the list that first jumps to mind is:
buy a domain name (see this board for recommendations)
buy hosting (again, see this board)
learn HTML and CSS - there are various guides available online for this, but dependent on how big/technical you want to make it this *could* take years.
My big hint re: HTML is to check the page source of various sites you like. I have recently started building my own site, it's by no means brilliant but it's a good start - feel free to PM me if you would like to check it outNSDs: 4/50 -
Got a Google a/c? If so you can use the Google Sites app.
It is fairly basic but should be OK for the task you require.
And it's free hosting. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Whilst learning HTML might be someones idea of fun, the 'easiest' way might be to use Wordpress (see http://wordpress.org/).

Definitely agree with making a wordpress,, it's great for small businesses and is so cheap. Sent you a message with more information. If anyone is after some decent hosting for a blog/website which is dirt cheap I can point you to the one I use which I came across when deciding which host to use for my blog. Message me

There is some free and fairly cheap software for creating webpages without knowledge of html or CSS tho it does help for tweaking if you know the basics. I use Kompozer from Mozilla (free) and CoffeeCup (about £20). I upload pages with smartFTP (about £30) but again there is free software available. The Google approach is a good idea for a new starter and it's all free. good luck.0
