Even my beloved horse had to go (and I miss him dreadfully and definitely can't replace him).

You have my instant empathy, I had to sell my horse in March this year. But, I have saved loads on livery, farrier, vet, feed, shavings, hay, wormers... I now wonder how I ever afforded him!

Once your debt is paid you can always get another or opt for sharing/part loan.

these threads inspire me to start listing everything that's not tied down....that's SS out then ;)

    I really should start somewhere

If you get a good price sell them, if not keep them. Depends on how much you really really like them, take some piccies of them from all angles to remind you of them if you do sell them!

    I've been Money Tipped!
I would say sell them. But if you can't bear to part with them, maybe you could have them dyed so you could wear them with other outfits?

Thanks everyone for your input. I made the decision to sell them so spent time yesterday evening sponging them down to get rid of the marks. And none of the marks will shift! I'm going to have another go tonight but it doesn't look like it's going to be feasible to sell them if they have stains on them.

If I can't shift the stains this evening I've decided I will dye them black and wear them to Christmas parties. I think this is still an acceptable DFW option! Anyway, I've listed most of my other bits and pieces- see proof: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=011&item=320036679265&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&rd=1 and will have it all listed by the end of the week. All except the lovely shoes which I will now get to keep for ever :D

Do it Zippy! It's a lovely book though isn't it... just not good for us recovering shopaholics...
