Disconnect the router. Unplug the router from the mains.
Power up the router and do a hard reset (usually a recessed button on the back)
Connect the router to the line, leave it a few hours.
Connect using an ethernet cable, go into the router management page using your web browser (usually using an IP address eg 198.xxx.xxxx.x) and put your plusnet user name and password in manually. The auto setup can be a bit flakey.
The router password is usually admin and a long letter/number which is on a sticker in the box the router came in, and is typed in UPPER CASE.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0
