SRM - still in my thoughts!

everyone else: i need help (apparently). im completely petrified of flying. had a chat about 7pm and cant stop thinking about it, so much so about half an hour ago i had a mini-breakdown... not cool for a 26y/o hunky guys.

any suggestions how to not panic?

my life plan was to stick to cruising but OH thinks otherwise, and 8 hours or more on a plane - thinking about it is making me hyperventilate.

apparently, although we live on an island and had an empire stretching to every corner of the globe prior to the advent of flight, the only !!!!ing way to get off the island is in a plane, and because my fear is irrational, im in the wrong and i need to change, cos im always in the wrong

Doomcow I was lurking and couldn't read and run. They do 'fear of flying' courses at most airports these days. I've heard that hypnosis is useful too. Please don't let the 'fear of fear' beat you. It can't be easy for you I know. Hugs.
