Unfortunalty you signed up for 24 months and you need to see that 24 months out. Your airtime agreement is NOT tied to your phone, so a broken phone is not a reason you can use to cancel the contract.

If you want to cancel the contract it will cost you £monthly rental x Month left minus a bit of VAT.

Have you tried contacting Apple, they do fixed price repairs, and you may find it's covered on your household insurance too.
  • you can cancel over the phone i did last week
  • I've moved these three posts into a thread on its own as the original thread was pretty old.

    You certainly can.

They will still charge the early termination fee as your leaving before the mimimum term though.

No. The OP said they have 11 months left on a 24 month contract.
  • Take it into Apple anyway. They might be able to fix/replace it for a nominal charge.

    I agree.

However this is just a typical "get me out of my contract" post which there are new variants of daily :rotfl:

These will beciome more and more common as 12 month contracts are almost none existant so before long we'll all be on 24 month ones. That or they will move to the business model used in other countries where you pay the full price for the handset and get cheaper calls. Great if you dont want the latest hadnsets but s**t if you do.
