No it's not important, having a loved one with a serious illness is important. eg my mother who has had a heart attack and also a liver abscess/infection and is struggling to survive is important IMHO!
With the greatest respect Gordkin this is a money saving forum, for people to discuss consumer issues.... My greatest sympathy for your mother but I really think your posts would be better placed in the Family section
I do not really feel its your place to tell me that the money I spend on something is not important and certainly wouldn't use someones health as a comparable

Could anyone explain why my lengthy thread regarding NUYUU Gym going into liquidation has been deleted? What happened to freedom of speech?
I gave my opinion on their shoddy gym and the fact that they are portraying the incident as a happy little merger when the reality is they have gone into liquidation...
I can only assume that my post was deleted for one of two reasons
1. I am wrong...... well am I? Is the aircon now fixed? Has the front glass been fixed? Has the Vibrogyms been replaced since yesterday? Have they stopped offering all in membership when they cant fulfil that offer? Hmmmmmm dont think I am wrong
2. Someone has got their gym shorts in a twist and does not like me publically revealing MINE and many many others dissatisfaction....
Quite rude of MSE to just delete without explaination, so I look forward to a reason... as all it has done is fuel the fire
All well and good in a democratic society, but contrary to what most people think, MSE isn't a democracy... no forum is.
The MSE team own and run the site and as such have the right to delete posts or threads at will and without reason or justification.
If you want true free speech then the only real way to do that is to run your own forum0 -

We have established the thread was removed because the MD posted on the thread, so I think that issue has been resolved.
This board is here for people to either praise a company, vent or post a warning. I wanted to vent my dissatisfaction at the services at Nuyuu and I wanted to warn those thinking of joining that the company is changing hands and that the membership they are advertising they cannot fulfil

I think this is a completely unnecessary over-reaction. OnTheUp posted about this gym to let others know what was going on, and is completely correct that this is a money-saving site and so his/her thread was completely relevant. Nowhere did OnTheUp claim it was the most important issue in the world, nor that it was more important than someone's health. At all times they have remained calm and polite (unlike yourself, BAILEYS6904) so I would be considering the irony of your last sentence if I were you.
