    Hey! :D

So I have arrived safe as has my luggage and all of that.

Been a good few days, just settling in, doing some training and getting to know everyone.

We chartered a boat on our free time and I now have some spectacular sunburn which was not such a great start.

Catching the short internal flight up to Sepilok tomorrow - looking forward to getting started with the orangutans! :D

Finding it very easy to be MSE so far as everything's so cheap, let's hope that continues!

    Speak soon:)xxx

Yep, there's no getting away from the internet!

My first rotation has been on jungle trekking - getting data on where the wild orangs are nesting.

Hard work in the humidity - turns out you can sweat from places you never knew you could!

Really not a big fan of the leeches - they can get straight through clothes and the horrible things get everywhere!

Can't wait till the next rotations where I'll actually start working with the orangs :D

Take care everyone, speak soon x

    Hi Bec's

    Great to hear from you.

Sounds like you are having an amazing time, despite the leeches!

Have you seen any giant spiders?

    Take care x
