Still waiting on Textbroker evaluating my articles :(

Although at the moment it's all go getting things ready for the craft fair I have booked for Saturday so not much time to write anyway.

I am taking some bunting to sew while working at the pub tonight so I am multi-tasking :D

Wages from the pub bring the challenge total to £93.86 :)

Managed to get about half the bunting sewn whilst working last night so will get that finished tonight after my cleaning job is out the way.

Getting a bit  about Saturday now!

Craft fair not so great! £18 profit after materials and stall cost. Not great for sitting there all day. Speaking to regulars at the fair it seems that perhaps this is the case now. They were saying that month by month they are seeing their sales go down - I'm guessing a sign of the fact people simply don't have the money. Problem is the stall cost isn't going down, it was £37!

Going to give craft fairs a rest for the time being and concentrate on Etsy instead and see how that goes.

A little £10 paid to my Mum today :)

  • Thats a shame about the craft fair shame they cant lower the stall costs while sales are low but £18 is £18 i suppose :) and thats what we have to look at i need to spend some time today reevaluating things because i seem so bitty with finances, hopefully pay another loan off this month and that lowers our outgoings that bit more...i would like to get our outgoings to a minimal lol.... from january however if i pay this loan and another loan we will be 1k a month available after all bills WOWZRS i need to create a realistic plan that entils paying finaces down and accumulating some savings for the impromptu surprizes lol .... im great at laying plans down but getting them going im rubbish :O

Hi Happy! Nice to see you again and hear that the finances are ticking along :)

Hi Claire! I leave for Africa on 12th Nov (arrive 13th) so not long to go :j

In other news - I have cut one pub shift a week now (Wednesday night), so this week will be my last one. I will still be doing Tuesdays and Saturdays. May not seem sensible money-wise but I have been working there over 4 years now, and it is getting a bit much. Also, I am hoping to go onto compressed hours (full-time hours still but worked over 4 days instead of 5) in the New Year and it won't be possible to leave early on week days to work in the pub if I do that, so I'm getting ready for that now.

I am currently doing some things on Trivago as an extra money earner now though (still waiting for TB to rate my articles ) so if anyone is interested in that then this is a shameless tout for referrals :p

Articles have now been rated by TB - one was 4* but the rest are 3* so I remain a 3* overall :(

Noted for the future - they like excessive use of commas!
