Good luck with your consultation. My OH had his eyes lasered years ago when it was all quite new. He said it was fine and he is the biggest wimp going, so I'm sure you'll be okay. I expect the process has improved since then too.

If they say it will be too expensive then the idea is probably out the window anyway. At the moment I only wear glasses for driving but I feel that perhaps my eyesight has got worse than I realise it is if that makes sense. Like I assume that no-one can read that poster across the room till someone reads it out kind of thing.

Just that wearing glasses fulltime would be a real pain when we go travelling etc so depending on cost then I'm interested. Thought it was worth checking before spending out another £200 on glasses anyway
