It's so annoying isn't it HWG? Well, I pinned him down through facebook on Friday night and ended up having an hour anf half conversation with him. As suspected, he is in a total mess, bank charges etc. I gave him lots of advice and directed him here. I was also quite to the point and told him to stop lying to himself and to get on top of the mess and stop lying to his friends. He promised me the money on Saturday and I told him to be honest again if he couldn't. Turns out of course he can't - he has told me the 28th so we will wait and see.

12 listings on eBay this weekend :)

Mother's day was nice, I managed to make the banoffee pie :)

Just £7 to the CC today as money is still tight.

Had to hold onto some of my last pub wages as am getting my hair cut and coloured tonight. It costs £75 :o But I haven't had it done since August which I'm hoping justifies it! :D

Haircuts are crazy! I've been cutting and colouring my own for 5 years now and I have saved thousands! I know it's not for everyone though.

Hope you'll be happy with it!

I'd love to be able to do it myself but don't think I could manage. I have 2 colours done as I have dark with lowlights done all over but also bleached sections. I also have hair that naturally does the tousled curl thing - which is great so long as all the layers are cut in properly otherwise it stands up on end!

    That's my justification anyway :o

Mine is highlighted and pretty curly so it's actually quite forgiving.

I've never really been happy with a hairdresser cut/finish, but if you have someone good it's definitely money well spent.

Sorry to hear you're friend's in serious trouble - hopefully he'll listen to your advice...

I do like how mine does it except for I don't let her blowdry it - no matter how many times I've told her not to do it big, she still makes me look like David Bowie in the Labyrinth  The cut and colour are good though.

The last couple of times a friend who is a hairdresser did it which was great as she only charged me £25 for the same thing. She left to go travelling in August though, hence why I've put it off till now as I'd got used to the cheaper price!

I've since found other friends have also been offering to help him budget etc but so far he's refusing the help. Hope he realises sooner rather than later :(
