Want a deal fro Sky+ to HD but all I've been offered is the standard deal !

My current Sky deal is Sky+, multiroom and all the channels ie £61 per month but I want to upgrade from Sky+ to HD and have just phoned Sky and they offered me the free HD Box plus £10 per month HD fees - ie the standard deal

'is this the best that Sky can do ?' - he told me 'yes'

Ok - what's the plan now ? I told him that I was looking at BT Vision and would get back to them later !!
Thanks to MSE I cleared £37k of debt in five years and I was lucky enough to meet Martin to thank him personally.

Phone cancellations and tell them you are leaving.

They "might" offer you something, but then again they may not.

That's why you have to give them the 'impression' you are going to cancel if they don't offer to give you a 'deal'!

All above info is correct. However, got to ask why you want to pay £10 per month for Sky HD? Most of the HD channels on sky are free anyway, so take the box without the HD subscription and you will still get HD channels

Since the OP has all the channels they will undoubtedly want the HD versions, which means that they will need to pay (unless a deal is forthcoming of course)

    Very true!

Plus now it's Sky's "Run up to Xmas" so all the deals stop until after the season! You might be thinking we're ages away from Xmas, but apparently more people sign up to sky on the run up to xmas, so hence they stop all the deals to maximise cash input.
:exclamatiTo the internet.. I need to complain about something!
