I think they used to announce the chosen sites for the day on the radio - but of course, if you didn't hear it then thats no help!

As far as I'm aware there were no signs showing the speed cameras operate in the area. What can I do to contest this? I did spot the car but after the event and I honestly don't know if I was speeding or not.

I have seen the photographic evidence but there is no info on the website to show the certificates for the calibration of the device.

Maybe simpler to pay 30 quid and keep the right foot a little lighter next time...? That works for me - I've been fined about 3 times in 15 years. Each time I slow down for a few years.
