Best way to remove shower curtain mould?

Hi. Best product for getting mould off shower curtains is that Oxy Clean stuff. I think Vanish do a version of it too.
It is not the miracle product it looks like on the TV ads, but it is very good at some things and one of them is removing mould!! Make up a solution in warm water and then spray it on, leave it and then it just rinses of (but you might have to wipe the stubborn bits).
I think it basically works well on organic type stains (grass, tea, food, but not grease). It is excellent at cleaning cups and tea spoons.0 -
If you have a Morrisons nearby, they sell decent vinyl shower curtains from £2-99! - or they did last month when my other half picked one up.:)0

I use that for removing mould on silicon seals, and as weather gets better all being well, it removes stubborn green mould in a outside yard that a power hose wont shift. It costs about £2 a bottle or so its really good stuff for lots of uses.
Its good stuff but be careful and open windows the fumes can be quiet bad especially if you have asthma.
Also as a prevention its best to let the curtain get air at it so it aint bundled up hence mould is encouraged by the moist wet surface.scottishkat wrote:i found that dettox mould and mildew remover shifted the black mould from everything in my bathroom. unfortunately i have pink mouldy type stuff on my shower curtain and it didnt get rid of that. be careful and wear something scruffy when you are using it though - i have to colour in the top i was wearing with permanent marker to hide the bleached bits i got when i used it last.
