Jamie Cullum and Tom Jones & Van Morrison or both invited guests only0

My partner got something similar, but it started by saying that tickets from SFF for this show had been copied or shared and this had prevented genuine SFF ticket holders getting in.
Not that we saw - we were admitted, no problems.
I actually think SFF may have been the authors of their own misfortune, because they sent invited guests not one, but TWO separate invitations.
The first one was the standard 'we can offer you two tickets' email.
The second one, however, stated that they had been able to get even more tickets, and did the invited guest have any friends that they also wanted to invite?
I fear that this may have been interpreted literally by recipients, who have thought - perhaps rightly - that there were a lot of spare tickets available, and told friends about them, or let them use copies of their own invite.
I thought at the time when my partner read it that it had been a little carelessly worded.
But what a shame if this prevents further tickets being available!
I love going to the occasional 'comp' performance - and always offer online feedback and write about it online if I can.0 -
As far as I can remember it has always been the case that when collecting SFF tickets you're supposed to produce photo' ID and I was surprised that this wasn't checked when I collected our tickets last night at the O2. However the queue was incredibly long and I'm guessing the box office staff may have initially asked for ID but then realised that if the remaining queue wasn't processed more quickly a great number of people would have missed the beginning. Also the email content suggests that some people may have complained to box office staff about the location of their seat ( even though the conditions request that customers shouldn't do that ). I have really appreciated the various tickets I've had from SFF, (many of which have been for O2 arena and its associated venue Indigo2) and will be really disappointed if availability is reduced in the future.0

The asking for ID has never been consistent and whilst I know others have been asked for it, I have never but usually have something with me in any case.
I have, however, seen people complain about their seating which is a bit cheeky. As I'm disabled, I feel I have always been treated very fairly on the few occasions I have been to shows.0 -

I'm a bit miffed as when I went through the process of applying, it didn't say anything about collection times. Now I've clicked through to the ticket it says I have to pick up my ticket two hours before the show starts which I can't do as I'm at work. I don't understand the arsey tone they use about the "ONLY" collection times and saying you're not allowed to contact the venue directly. Surely the venue wouldn't actually mind me collecting my ticket just before the show starts as long as I phone them to say I'm coming? Very strange. Does anyone know what would happen if I actually phoned the venue, would I get my account deleted or something, banned for life?!
I don't think you would be banned for life but the theatre might well refuse to give you tickets and don't forget, it is still on a first come, first served basis, so you run the risk of them allocating them to those who do turn up at the stated time.0 -
I've followed instructions on the ticket about collecting earlier than 30 minutes before the show starts and had the venue tell me to come back later (when I tried to collect an hour and then 35 minutes before the start). They refused to print any tickets until 30 minutes before the show was due to start.0
