I saw the eve show of Made in Dagenham last week it was hilarious depiction but still got the message about the struggle.

I reached just in time and got the tickets. It is picking up it popularity so night be a good idea to go earlier and collect the tickets before the show. Then you can roam round the Trafalgar Sq. 5min walk away(though not a good weather to be near the pool and splash about).

They didn't ask for any ID from anyone.

BUT be warned don't take any hot food they will take it away from you but will keep it to give back after the show. I don't know if it is this Theatre specific because I went to Haymarket and took hot food but didn't get stopped that is why I took it to this theatre.

Oh well even though I was hungry the show kept me busy and hunger kept at bay.

We went to see Made in Dagenham this afternoon but we were turned away as the tickets were cancelled. We were told that we should have had an email cancelling the tickets but we did not get the email so did not know about it and made the journey into London specially for the show.
Was anyone else turned away today? We were there at 12.45pm. Did everyone receive the email? I am just annoyed that we spent quite a bit on fares to get to London.

New to the thread...have tried checking back....do you register on the showfilmfirst website for this ?

Yes register with SFF and most of the come back to site for tickets for shows and films. Each have different sections.

Hi Kalsha, My sister had tickets to MIG for today Sat 22nd 3pm show. She did not receive no email so went. She actually turned up 10min late so was expecting to be turned away but got in. 2 min later someone else also were allowed in though don't know if they were SFF.
I know that Thu 20th and Fri 21st were canceled and people were being turned away as posted. So I think the attendant might have been thinking that today was cancelled as well. That's all I can think of.

That makes me very angry as we were there so early. The guy at the box office checked with someone else and both said that the tickets were cancelled.
I will be complaining but I will wait till end of today to see how many other people were allowed in or turned away.

It was probably because you were there so early that they turned you away. If they thought that they might sell tickets to people turning up, they would prefer to do that.

SpreadPyar's sister turned up "10 min late" so at that point they had probably decided they wouldn't in fact sell the tickets.

It may simply have been a commercial decision. However, if that was the case, for you they could have asked you to return later to see if any seats were available.

The email said that tickets were to be collected at 1.30pm. Yes we were 45 mins early. I was expecting him to say that we were too early and we should come back later but he said that they were cancelled totally. I did ask him if there was a chance that they could let us in later as we had come a long way, and he said no. We would have gladly gone later nearer 3pm had he suggested that.

Thanks for this....do people get a lots of tickets through SFF,just wondering as this thread was fairly quiet until the MID discussion..

I turned up at 12.45 to check about queuing arrangements. I was told also the SSF tickets had been cancelled and I should have received an email. I almost burst into tears as I said 'but I've travelled from East Anglia' that morning and asked when the emails were sent. The lovely assistant must have took pity on me and asked me to come back at 2.45. I came back at requested time and was given a ticket for the Dress Circle.

I had considered going to IWM, but was so happy I stuck with MiD. A superb production - amazing set and just loved Hadfield and Dann.

Does anyone know whether SSF sent emails? I received only a reminder!!!
