Laptop help please

My pleasure; absolutely no harm with using the laptop without battery inserted.Thanks busenbust thats very helpful I am now using it with
no battery in that i did not think it was possible to do, as i
thought it needed it in or would harm laptop without it.
most of the time they are using it connected to mains as
they do not want it to lose games if the battery dies as
they are on for hours, but your advice is very helpful thankyou
