NOD32 ver 4.xx since June this year hasn't been faring well in AV testing by the usual labs. In fact Microsoft Security Essentials and Avast are doing consistently better. I decided after 4 years not to bother renewing my subscription with them.0

When the scan finished please do post the log which shows the infections. Multiple logs if there's an infection showing in more than one log.0

Flipping 'eck!
3 hrs 7 mins on quick scan and 701 files infected
You took no action to remove the infections looking at the log, you will need to re-scan again and tick the boxes beside the infections when they show after the scan and then let Malwaebytes remove them.
With that amount of infected files you really should run a full scan but how long that will take is anybody's guess, maybe worth while downloading CCleaner first before scanning with Malwarebytes and cleaning up any junk/rubbish first.
When you run Malwarebytes check for any updates first before scanning.0 -
Rather than running Malwarebytes immediately, download and run Hitman Pro as scan should only take 5 minutes.0

all clear now also ran hitman pro that cleared a few bits...
ok for future is there a program i can use with eset nod32 utility or do i do a hitman/malwarebytes periodically??
