I'm glad C seems to be feeding well and that the Bruno family had a good night.

Becles, a whole weekend with no calls? I hope you find ten minutes (or an hour, or two) for yourself in there xxx

MDW I hope Katie gets better soon.

Miss M's still grotty, fell asleep in her high chair over breakfast and has been waving byebye for naptime since she woke up. She's gone off for one now, poor little monster, but I am still hanging about not icing cakes nor buying tree stands.

mdw yes I went to the doctors on weds and he said its not infected yet but I need to get the milk out or it will get infected. He said he doesn't want to give me the medication that drys up the milk because its quite potent. I don't think I pointed out quite how painful it was though so if I'm not feeling better next week i'll have to go back.

today's tasks are marzipanning my Christmas cake, learning how to make royal icing and making space for a Christmas tree. I may also go out and see if I can buy a tree base.
 I still haven't made our cake yet. OH has brought the tree back in from the shed though.

I can't believe our recycling wasn't picked up yesterday. It was supposed to go last Thursday and there's all these leaflets about Christmas dates attached to the bins, so I thought maybe they picked up rubbish instead. But nothing's been picked up? !!!!!!? Where did the leaflets come from? ANNOYED.
Our rubbish bin hasn't been emptied for four weeks as it was due the day the snow came so wasn't emptied and then they came yesterday but *somebody* hadn't put the bin out as he didn't think they'd come. I hope it gets emptied in two weeks time as it'll be full by then.

Our rubbish bins were not collected during the snow, everyone has had their bins out since and on wed they came, typical our bin was not out so it'll have been 4 weeks for our rubbish next thurs. OH might have to jump on it a bit to compact it I think eek. I just hope we don't get anymore snow, I normally love it but with a newborn I'm stuck indoors, instead of going out to play.

    Morning all.

Nice to hear your news and that things are going smoothly Bruno.
Get well wishes to all that need them. We have just come to the end of nearly two weeks of broken sleep due to blocked noses, chesty coughs and high temperatures so you have my sympathy!
On the plus side the Gro clock is FANTASTIC! My eldest now sleeps through the night from 6/6.30 to 5.45!!! Wish I had found it sooner.
Went to the boys christmas play and they both did well singing and doing all the actions and didn't come rushing to sit with Mum and Dad when they saw us!

    Have a good day all.xx

I really like the Gro-clock, but E is only just maybe-ish getting to the age of obeying it :p previously it only went as far as him complaining if the sleeping star was there when it should be the wake-up sun. Glad it's working for you :)

My flu is breaking up with lots of productive coughing and poor chris now has it bad. Both chris and Amber were vomiting last night. Lots of coughing and snot. Chris is lying on the sofa unable to move refusing medicine. Hope it's all gone for Christmas.

OT is coming out this afternoon which is silly. He's so I'll shevwont be able to do anything with him. Going to try and call her back soon to cancel.

And my laptop is broke. The mouse pad doesn't work. Hoping a USB onecwill work and maybe I will pick up a cheap on in the jan sales (laptop). Let the kidshave the old one.

Glad to hear your 1st night went okay, Bruno! :T Don't shoot me and I KNOW it's early days but if you guys were unhappy with any part of E's routine developing from bad habits, it's worth a small thought in the back of your brains that now (well, coming weeks anyways) is the very best time to form good (better) habits so you don't have those regrets IYSWIM? I am not lecturing in any way, just planting the seed! :D I LOVE hearing about brand new babies and just makes me all super broody.

Hope everyone's having a good day so far. :)

P.S. I know lou isn't around here much these days, but Happy Birthday Cody!!
