Evening all. I'm still recovering from no sleep the other night, so zombified, but I've just caught back over the last few pages. Went over to my parents today and took advantage of the spare bedroom for a bit while they looked after her - meant I got more than just naptime to sleep. I'm still struggling though, so early night for me shortly. We've been playing with another baby today - Izzy was very good and only made the baby cry once. My dad however made the baby hysterical - can't take him anywhere

We only knew the other baby was called Angel because the midwife told us, because it was midwife led we had our own room and so never saw them, i thought it was a lovely coincidence too.
ethelsmum, i ordered our Sophie from amazon on a Monday morning and it was here on the Tuesday,i was so impressed and G loves her. but she squeaks which i didnt realise until she arrived and she sounds very loud when she is being bashed on the floor!( and if you accidently stand on her)0 -

Thomas loves his Sophie - he smiles as soon as he hears her squeak before he sees her. If we wave her and squeak her near the camera it makes him smile tooMummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -

I havent tried any groups yet Gill but as you say hes near the age of your LO so maybe now is the time to brave it?
Susan, we started weaning him a couple of weeks ago and he has taken to it really well, so much so that he isnt nearly as keen on milk as he was. As for sleeping, he goes to bed at 7pm fine but tends to wake up at about 2 and 4 and about 6ish to have his dummy put back in, so i dont think thats too bad? but the last couple of nights he has decided that about 5.30/6 am is a good time to have a bit of a chat??? its so funny though that i lay there laughing at it. i was really worried that he should be sleeping through as loads of people in real life have done the "mine was sleeping through from 3 weeks... 4 weeks...10 minutes!(ok this one is an exaggeration) but i came to realise that people seem to fib about this(or maybe they have just forgotten)?0
