MorningI'm up. Ambe had a possible fit ( head flopped back eyes rolled back ) at 5am so she's on 5 mls diorolyte every 5 mins to see how she is before I call the hospital again.
So sorry to hear that. Will be thinking of her today and sending get well vibes xx
Hope all the poorly ones feel better this morning xx
Another early riser here. Woke about 6.15am and couldn't get back to sleep so I got up and did some paperwork and ironing.
Boys have gone back to school this morning. I hate the day they go back as I miss them badly
Got Charlotte at home today as the primary school is closed today for teacher training. We're taking Bob to the vets for his annual jab first thing, then going to the shops to buy things to make Christmas shoe boxes. We'll pack them up this afternoon.
Have a good day everyone xxHere I go again on my own....0 -
Morning all.
Tia how scary! I hope she's improving now.
Mel. It was nothing exciting! They'd been tipped off that a group of teenagers had arranged a huge meet up for mischief night. A couple of cars went to supervise and got fireworks thrown at them, so everyone got sent there to round them up. Lots of fireworks, drink and laser pens were confiscated and quite a few locked up.:beer:0 -
Tia, poor Amber (and you) I hope she starts to feel better soon.
3, sounds like regular teenage mucking about.
Becles, Charlotte sounds very grown up. Hope your dog behaves himself at the vet, it can be a bit scary.
Grrr, would anyone like my OH? He's so messy it's getting to the point where I could seriously kick his butt. If I say anything, he looks all sheepish, says he won't do it again - and then does  The man does not know what a bin, laundry basket or plate is for, there is toast crusts on the hearth. I blame his mother, as she's exactly the same, but you would've thought he'd have learned by now. Bah humbug, rant over

Somnium I'm starting to crash now :rotfl:
I forgot to strip the baby before giving her a pot of yoghurt so now she's nudey buff, her sleepsuit is a mess and the floor is sticky.
Once she goes for her nap I'm going to start my counselling course stuff and hopefully get the first assignment done. I want to sort out the kitchen as well and try and collect loads of stuff for giving away.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

DS1 is off to school, DH is off to work. DS2 and I are feeling better.
Amber is currently on her second 7oz of dioralyte, I'd like to say she is feeling better but the past few monrnings she has had something to eat and drink and looked better then got sick again later on, so we will wait and see. She's had a slice of toast and is now on some onion ring crisps (whichwere mine).
Hospital said they weren't too worried about the 'fit', it could have just been her being sick and not bringing anything up, or that she was so sleepy and it was over quick and she recovered quickly. TBH think it's more a case of 'she has a contagous virus and we don't want her here unless she is really bad'.
But when she was lying there with here eyes glossed over and not responding, I was !!!!!!!! myself! First of my children to ever do that!
She's fair tucking into those onion rings though! Wonder if her throat is sore?0 -
I'm glad she's seeming better Tia and the onion rings will give her some fast calories. She could have been sleep-puking; glassy eyes normally mean a fever and if she's responsive now it was probably just shock, fever and being mostly asleep. Poor little beastie though, I hate it when they're sick

She doesn't have much of a fever, but I do agree that she was sleep-vomiting. Well she was trying to. She's have a wee snooze now.
Better news, carpet fitter is coming this morning (late morning) to lay the carpet! Woohoo! DH was very kind and went to the bank and left money so I don't have to go out.
I'm off to get my 'bed' as Chris calls it (duvet) and then I'm for a nap on the couch with Amber and maybe Chris will join us.0
