    Morning..

Em - awful isnt it I cant believe of all the date's they choose they go for the 5th of Nov, I hope their concience's ways heavy on them. It makes me mad too, there better paid than our soldiers and do you see them moaning about hours, equipment and conditions!

T has a cold coming I think she has been coughing and sneezing, I suppose its just that time of year though.

Am at work for 4 hours tomorrow for a KIT day and I dont want to go :( Had a little cry thinking about leaving baby girl yesterday. I know the KIT days allow us both to ease into the routine so am not gonna cancel them but feeling apprehensive. Am not sure what to do for the best about taking her to MILs tomorrow, I want to make sure she is as happy as possible there so think Im going to take her food but not sure what else. I was gonna right a little note of what her rough routine is for MIL.

Apparently there's a good Grabbit - M&S's own version of Baileys (Chocolate and Vanilla Cream Liqueur?) is on sale for £2.49 from £10.99. Would be good to stock up for gifts, fudge making or being indulgent... :money:

What lovely news to wake up to! :D

Hugs Som, it is hard and I still sometimes have dust in my eye when I leave Henry at home. However I have to say that the hugs and smiles you get when you come home are indescribable! Yesterday I came home from a truly horrible day at work and Henry stretched his arms out to me, grinned and put his head on my shoulder. He would never have done that if I'd been home all day nagging him :rotfl:. I would definitely write T's routine down, and send a few of her favourite books and toys with her as well (and a change of clothes).

Caz- I am so flipping jealous of that pony. I wish you were nearer me- I'd totally come and visit. Can one of the Hampshire ladies get a pony, please?

I have another for people planning experience type gifts - a free £10 at Red Letter Days xxx

SS, stalking the Grabbit board so you don't have to ;)

Edit: I love coming home from being out because Molly cracks a smile so wide it touches her ears and her eyes totally vanish, then she makes a contented little Aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh noise and comes over to be picked up and cuddled.

Downside is that I have a fear of public toilets so usually come home bursting, and she WILL NOT be put down outside the bathroom.

I never knew you had a cat, Jillie.

Henry loves Match of the Day on a Sunday morning. He must get that from me as I also love it, although the Saturday night one is too late for me these days.

Right Parents, I need some help please....

T is awake soooooo much through out the day that I am after some extra things to sit her in....atm she rotates between her bouncy chair, a door hanging bouncer and lying on the floor, with or without the playgym above her head.....she tends to get bored of each place very quickly!! I have NEVER had this problem before as the boys all tended to sleep loads during the day, she does a quick nap after a feed and then a quick 10mins before her next one, she must feel as though she is going to miss out on something;)

Anyway, can I have some opinions on this, this, this and this
Any advice on the above, or any other ideas would be greatly appreciated:D

I would forget the playmat. but try the fisherprice jumperoo or a learn n' groove type thing. Have you tried aa sling or bbay carrier? Or a bumbo (don't py full price - they seem to love or hate them!)

Miss Shouty decided we'd get up at 5.45 today.

And this morning i've had a sort or delayed realisation that Mel & Weezl (and Krystal soon) have toddlers younger than mine, and another baby too! Crazy women! :p

    . :(

your V is like my A. We have long converstions that go along these lines
    A: Dark outside
M: yes, it's dark outside because it is night time. Night night.
A: Dark outside, night time. Morning?
Me: no, still night time, it'll be morning when it is light and sunny outside.
A: Oh. Dark outside - play?

And so it goes on....Last night she woke at midnight and I thought she'd be up for ages, but she was upset because she couldn't find baby (her doll) so once she was found (under the duvet) then she happily lay down and went to sleep. I was amazed. But we also have a ridiculous wake up time this morning

I actully quote you about the realisation on younger toddlers AND babies, but I've rambled - I had the same lightbulb moment last week. scry isn't it!:rotfl:

PS my keyboard is still plying up so excuse the lack of 'a' sometimes!

It's tough. I still feel like that with Charlotte some days :o

If she's staying at MIL's regular, it's much easier just to leave stuff there. My parents had packs of nappies and wipes, plastic crockery and cutlery, couple of outfits, toys and books and so on. Makes it so much easier as you don't have to pack bags and cart stuff backwards and forwards.

Got today off work but it's raining heavy and it's forecast to rain all day - not fair! Going to take the boys and Charlotte shopping at the Metrocentre as they could do with winter clothes and Josh needs new trainers. Got my eye on a coat in M&S and I've got gift vouchers burning a hole in my pocket, and I'm tempted to buy myself a Primark baby gro :D

Have a good day all xx
Here I go again on my own....
