Can someone enlighten poor Buttons on this Squirrell bobbins? I feel like I'm missing out on a really mint joke here
Looks like I'm heading down to England on the 3rd now, as Zahara (Idris mum) wants to take Keira to Hexham to visit Andrea (Keira's aunt) then, and I was going to fly down but I'd rather supervise her on the blasted motorway with my child. I'm just wary of leaving Keira with her, so I'll be in Leeds and she'll be up near newcastle, how dysfunctional.
Plus Zahara proper gets on mine and Keira's t1ts, so sod knows how she's going to cope being with her for 5 days PLUS her mini me incarnate (her aunt)
FNAAAAAAAAR. I only want to drive down with them so I can instruct her to put her hands back on the steering wheel and to stop clapping her hands along to music
So looks like I'm going Aberdeen - Hexham - Newcastle - York - Leeds. What a chew on.......0 -

After reading all the pelvic floor squeezing going on above this post, I'm ashamed to say I was giggling at the thought of your pelvic floor creaking:rotfl:

How long before the cord stump falls off? I'm sure H's was off within about 5 days, Miss Stinky Stump still has hers, and it stinks, and there are spots of blood falling off (but nothing major). Obviously I'm not looking for medical advice, just anecdotes!
Congrats on your lovely news :j
I think all three of mine stank before it fell off. It was foul like rotten meat - blergh! I can't remember how long it took, but James and Charlottes just fell off and I found it in their nappy. Josh's partly fell off, so I kept giving it a gentle twiddle to encourage it to fully fall offgot-it-spend-it wrote: »
What are folks with young toddlers doing about keeping Christmas trees away from little hands, or does the novelty just wear off after a couple of days?
We've got a tall fake tree that stands on the floor. There is a novelty factor at first, but after a couple of days of being told "no" firmly everytime they went near it, they learned to look but not touch.
I normally put the tree and all the decorations up by myself because I'm anal about them looking perfect. The children have no idea when I'm doing it and I absolutely love seeing their faces when they come home and everything is Christmassy.
We'll all have to post tree and decorations piccy's nearer the time
Drinking: started at 16 as I was working in the labs at a brewery. Only been drunk a couple of times though as I don't like being drunk. Here I go again on my own....0 -
BM squirrels gather nuts for the winter and then send a carefully chosen nut or two to a pre-arranged other squirrel in a seasonal gift exchange.
If you were a squirrel, it would be a bit like a Secret Santa but obviously not the same cause one of those would be illegal on MSE. So squirrel references are talking about a totally legal exercise happening on FB but being discussed over here because we can all only handle so much excitement and today squirrels are it.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
