I have been having signal problems for about a fortnight now, intermittently. No bars on phone, cant text or ring etc. But for the last 24 hours or more people have been texting me but the messages dont get through. This isnt ALL messages but enough to be a worry.

What on earth is going on? Anyone else having probs? I am in the south-east......

Could be a mast down near you (or is the problem not location dependant ?)...

I am in the west of scotland and both myself and my DD have virgin mobiles. The signal drives me nuts!! I can walk from one side of the house to the other and the signal disappears, incidently my OH is with O2, DS vodafone, and this doesn't happen with either of them. Texts can sometimes take ages to come through to me or get through to other people from me and generally I am sick of it.

Our contracts are due for renewal in dec and I'm moving both of us elsewhere, I just had enough!

You have my full sympathies :o

DH and I have had similar problems with Virgin of late. I very often have texts go astray or which are really delayed. The signal isn't too bad at the moment but recently it was down for about 2 weeks and despite us calling them several times, Virgin couldn't tell us anything and didn't offer us anything to apologise

You have my sympathies too. I'm pretty sure it's not just you. Let's hope they sort themselves out soon.

are you in the south east too? There was no signal for several days about a month or so ago but I read somewhere that they were aware of the problem and fixing it. I cant understand why only SOME texts dont get through. Problem was just as bad last night but so far today seems fine.
