Help, have I got a faulty sd card?

You can get card readers in the pound shops nowadays -so don't pay a lot.
Maybe you can read/access it by connecting camera to pc -using the camera as a card reader ?
Once you can see the card in my computer you can right click and then get option to format. Don't format 'til after you've tried to rescue any photo files.0 -
Have tried using the camera via pc to upload pictures but nothing happens, wont let you do anything when the sd card is inserted.
When sd card is taken out the pc reconizes the camera and is fully functional.0 -
Have gone and bought a card reader have inserted the card, but it comes up with please insert a disk to F drive.
So I think it is kerrrputtt!:(0 -
YES, unfortunately its gone corrupt. Just slice and bin it.
