Which number to ring please for O2

Can you please tell me what number to ring for O2 to look at what they can offer me. Iv'e tried different ones but don't seem to be getting very far.
I am currently with CPW, have just spoken to them and they say the best they can do is 400 mins and 100 texts for £35 per month and £150 cashback at the end of the term.
I don't think it is that great and am hoping I will have better luck with O2, it's a shame CPW won't do better as I have been with them for over 5 years.
They are offering a D900 for free but the Nokia scirooco (gorgeous phone) for 240.00.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Jules

  • I know it's a really boring question I have but am determined to try and get it sorted tonight.
I have spent an hour and a half on hold to CPW in the last week.

    Please answer someone. Thanks
  • You service provider is CPW not O2. If you are looking to upgrade you must do this via CPW. As you've found out, retentions deals offered by CPW are poor when compared with those offered by O2 itself.

Use the opportunity to escape CPW, migrate to another service provider, and have the benefits of being a new customer on another network.

  • Thanks for that
I have the number for CPW retentions but am wanting the best number to ring for O2 to see what the best deal is I can get.

    Hi there.

I was nearly pulling my hair out yesterday getting nowhere with 02, Three, CPW, Orange to see if I could get my contract knocked down. None of them were taking any of it.

So today, rang CPW, just said I wasn't happy, they put me through to their "customer loyalty department", who I spoke to a great person for nearly 30 minutes about it.

Knocked down my existing contract (which was coming to an end next month) to £8.50 p/month plus a new phone.

    Sorted.

Moral of story: Don't listen to the normal CPW avenues, they just try to sell you new contracts at beefed prices. Jusy say "I want to cancel my contract" and they should, fingers crossed, slip you through to the loyalty centre.

'Customer loyalty' is just the term CPW use for retentions. So the original poster already has already considered this option.

  • Yes once you eventually get through to the loyalty dept, they are ok but still don't appear to be offering a good deal. The best they offered me was more than one I found later on their website that still wasn't great.
I have read about the discount 500 with O2 but do not know whether I woudl be eligible as I have been with CPW and not them.

  • I have just rang O2 online sales who have offered me:400 mins, 100 texts plus 6 months free 2000 minutes weekends of calls for £35 per month on a 12 month contract.
How does this sound, I know I havent been with O2 b4, only through CPW but by what I have read others seem to be getting the line rental cheaper.
    Thanks
    Jules
