You are doing so well Kat, and I'm sure you'll be flying through the rest once you finally kick that evil reserve out! xDebt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0

Hi all, not much extra money this weekend. Didn't work Fri night as had my monthly "date night" with hubby. DS was really ill at MIL and SIL rang me Sat morning to go get him, a call to NHS direct and ambulance to hospital later, he has infected tonsilitus. I cancelled my shift Sat night, even though DH was in, DS was struggling to breathe (hence ambulance) and although DS was home I needed to be here as DH doesn't drive - DS comes before any money or debt anyway so really don't care about the money - just won't be able to save as much this week.
Think we will clear Kays first, although the reserve is mega expensive, we are doing well with creeping out of it each month and it's important to pay the interest free stuff before we get charged the interest!!Loan - [STRIKE]£6991.95[/STRIKE]£6180.01; Barclays Res - [STRIKE]£600[/STRIKE] £0 - £22 per week , NWB Grad O/D - [STRIKE]£1185[/STRIKE] £887.86 18.28% SWALEC - [STRIKE]£700[/STRIKE] £0 NPOWER [STRIKE]£220[/STRIKE] £0 Kays - [STRIKE]£591.28[/STRIKE] £0 TOTAL DEBT - [STRIKE]£10,288.23[/STRIKE] £7,000.01 31.96 % Paid off. Thanks Beccie, he's loads better than on the weekend.
I managed to put £46.02 into savings so that's the holiday paid for plus 1/2 my tax (which is due at the end of the month).
We were going to draw out the money from the council tax bill not going out this month's pay or next but thought it may be best to leave it where it is so it can go against the nasty horrible reserve.
Once the holiday is paid for and we have the tax, we can properly save in ernest to pay stuff off. I kinda feel a bit weird allocating that money to paying things other than debt but before I would have gotten more into debt to pay them so I'm still counting it as a win.Loan - [STRIKE]£6991.95[/STRIKE]£6180.01; Barclays Res - [STRIKE]£600[/STRIKE] £0 - £22 per week , NWB Grad O/D - [STRIKE]£1185[/STRIKE] £887.86 18.28% SWALEC - [STRIKE]£700[/STRIKE] £0 NPOWER [STRIKE]£220[/STRIKE] £0 Kays - [STRIKE]£591.28[/STRIKE] £0 TOTAL DEBT - [STRIKE]£10,288.23[/STRIKE] £7,000.01 31.96 % Paid off. Hi Kat
You are being very sensible getting the money saved up in advance to pay for things you now are coming up soon. It's all part of sticking to a realistic budget.LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

Thanks Woo, it's good to hear people feel the same, it makes me feel a bit of a fraud as that money could go against something else but at least we are not going in the wrong direction.
