Sat/Sun 16th/17th October - What small DFW things will you be doing this weekend?!

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free :money:
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important
Well goooood morning everyone - thought I'd better get us going as it's so late! Hope you're all enjoying lazy mornings:T
I have a quiet day here today - bliss. Taking girls to gymnastics for 11 til 12, then ex is picking them up to have them til tomorrow. My Asda shopping is being delivered later...that's all the excitement here:D
Ok, here's my list:

Today I have already -
Been and stocked up on shopping and fuel at Sainsburys as it's triple nectar points this weekend. Got my £2 off a £20 spend for next time with the receipt. All paid for on nectar credit card for even more nectar points (this will be paid off in full this month too
)
Nipped into town early, bagged a free space as it was quiet and paid a cheque in the bank from a refund for an item of clothing I bought but sent back as it was coming apart. Also got 3 tins of tuna for £1 in Poundland which is cheaper than the supermarket basics range I normally get for work lunches
Came home and had received £20 in Sainsbury vouchers in the post from a survey site
Guess i'll be shopping there for the next few weeks
Rest of the weekend -

First chance to get on here today as I've done all but one job on my list, and as the last one is to sit down with a jigsaw, I thought I'd do that tonight

So far I have:- run WM overnight on Economy 7
- hung HC outside in the free sunshine
- fed, watered and cleaned out chickens in exchange for eggs
- pruned apple trees and currant bushes to ensure a bumper crop next year
- harvested the last of the potatoes at the allotment
- harvested some raspberries
- made pattern for next corset - underbust this time

- had an NSD
- wash light colours overnight using Economy 7
- hang on airer
- collect DGS from DS2 in Didcot using diesel paid for by DH
- get "free" dinner at DS2 house - although I'll end up cooking it
- go foraging in Didcot (rosehips I hope)
- another NSD
