Contract ID in Orange shop requirements?
HI,
The OH and myslef are going to get two new phones on her contract tomorrow. The OH is upgrading and adding me to her contract. She has been with Orange for 5 years+...ish and I was wondering wll we need to take any ID with us? Or will they have the relavent stuff because she is already with Orange? I am also with Orange but on Pay and Go.
Thanks.
Legoman.

With VF, if you are upgarding I have never needed anything. As to adding a 2nd phone onto the account, don't know.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.

Have you rung Orange on 150 and asked what deal they or retentions would offer? I have found that they usually beat the shops and, of course, you get 7/14 days experimenting with 2nd phone she is adding for you. But use her sim to test it.
It might save you some money and is worth a try.0 -
You will get a better deal on over the phone.
If you do go into a store you'll need to take some ID (due to phone's being fraudulently added to acc's). Passport, both bit of a driving licence, fix line phone bill, or utility bill (all dated in the last 3 months). Any one of those will see you right. . .0 -
Aahh cool. We have all of these! Well we are going into our nearest town tomorrow major shopping day and will be picking up the phones then. It's two iPhones. I don't think we'll get a better deal over the phone with them would we?You will get a better deal on over the phone.

The cost of the phone should be the same in store as it is online for iPhones I would have thought?0 -
I'd have thought so, there are very few deals with iPhones, but a store might be persuaded to throw in a few freebies (maybe). You might get a free case or car charger, especially if you keep plugging away for it. . .0

Yeah good idea and as we are buying two iPhone's I would think that they should at least give my OH something for her like you say. A car charger would be good.I'd have thought so, there are very few deals with iPhones, but a store might be persuaded to throw in a few freebies (maybe). Thanks for the advice I'll report back with the results. I'm still a little worried that they might not give two iPhones but i shouldn't really as I said in a previous thread my OH has excellent credit, never missed a payment with Orange or anyone for that matter and we have the money to put down for the phones.0 -
If the Orange store won't give you the deal you want, you can always try P4U or CPW. They can both do Orange upgrades. . .0

Mangaed to get two iPhone 4's on one contract no problem. Good Tarrifs as well though no freebies. Very happy with the phone so far it kinda blows anythng I've had out the water and I'm afraid to take it out with me for fear of dropping it! Need a hard case I think.
My brother applied today with Orange with a bad credit rating and was accepted for an iPhone 4 as well which is odd... though the ladies at the Orange shop said usually we do a credit check with Experian which they did with my OH and if it's declined (she was fine) we just photocopy some ID then put it through anyway... Crazy and I wish I'd known that before I could have had me own but I don't mind being on my OH's...0
