she does sound amazing...it was the third anniversary of my friends death yesterday and she planned her own funeral. So sad but so nice to realise she had managed to have the funeral she wanted IYSWIM....

Sally, you know you would be issuing orders from your bed with your laminated to do list!

  • Opinions please...was chatting with DH about my business last night and he thinks it would make more sense to charge 'by the hour' for my services when it comes to doing things like a wedding ie. hair and makeup. Like I say, it will take me 4 hours to do 3 up-do's and 3 blow drys and 6 makeup and I charge £30 p/h. So, £120 for the lot. Or do you think it would be better to charge per service?

Would you get more If You charged per booking Bun?

  • I don't know if I would get more, or less, it all depends on the style etc which is what makes it difficult. If someone wanted a really difficult up-do that took me ages to do and I charged the standard £15 (as an example) for an up do but it took me the best part of an hour to do, I would be on a loser there...
