Whilst I have a great deal of sympathy for hard working people trying to get a foot on the ladder and then finding them selves in negative equity, I'm afraid I can't feel any sympathy for some spoiled prat who borrowed cash from her family to buy part of what looks like a work house for half a million.

Call me old fashioned but what's wrong with a normal house?

The 70% club says: Cheer up Alison, your flat has not suddenly developed subsidence or dry rot, just a taste of price reality. Homes are for living in. Just enjoy the view ... er whoops, I mean the "Sleek Scandinavian furniture"

That is one great view for €525,000

Her grandfather is Leo Ward of Ward Anderson the owners of the largest cinema chain in Ireland.

It reminds me of the moaners pictured in the Times when the Coalition proposed cutting child benefit for higher rate taxpayers.

The husband was on at least £150K+ according to his tax band :rotfl: and they only had one child.

Believe your own eyes. Is your dream house currently for sale at a large discounted price?

I think you know the answer to that.

Yes. We're going to see two houses next week. Both asking between 14 - 20% under peak price.

I don't quite get all this "dream house" rubbish, though. Sounds a bit like a bricks version of a knight in shining armour.

    I was thinking that - a multi-storey car-park and a goods yard.
