    Wow aren't you a rude mumi2be.
It's really simple once your child is born you will be entitled to claim ctc whether you are claiming IS/JSA/MA/SMP/ESA. Have you thought about using google?

yes i have tried google but could not find the answer, thats why i tried this site as i thought informed people or people in the same situation would be able to help.

you did not say in your answer that i would or would not receive CTC whilst getting MA.

i dont think i was rude at all, it was you who asked " what part is hard to understand"?

your answer was hard for me to understand, obviously im just stupid!

Once the baby is born you will get a form in your bounty pack you get whilst in hossie. Fill that in straight away and send it off , mine too two weeks to come but it may take longer .. Then you will receive your maternity allowance etc . If you have been employed for less than the allocated time for maternity pay you are still classed as working ( as long as you still have a job to go back to ) If this is the case you will not be entitled to jsa etc.

Bit more plain english but DX2 had already given you that advise.
