Friend has Sky + and is moving. The new house has a Sky dish and quad LNB, the people moving out have Sky +.
My friend is only paying £20 per month, no movies or sports channels and doen't want them.
The Sky + box is only about a year old and she has not had any problems with it so should she bother about going down the route of cancelling and re-applying in another name, new husband, or just, when she gets round to it, inform Sky of her new address?
Or even wait until she has problems with her Sky + box, or Sky, in the future, start sending out new cards? Whichever comes first.

With no movie or sports requirements, I'd just cancel Sky, buy a Humax Foxsat HDR to give me all the Sky+ PVR functions (straight box swap in this instance), and I'd be in profit inside a year (and own the best Freesat PVR on the market). No free lunch, and no free laptop
