I see so actually if you pay the money the judge says you don't get a CCJ, that's worth knowing!
You have 28 days to pay any judgement against you. A CCJ is only registered on your credit record if the judgement is not paid within that time.

So final question...I take it these jokers, or their debt collection company, have no recourse to add anything to your credit history over this?
    Absolutely not
And nobody has ever had the "visit within 72 hours"? That's the worrying bit with two small children:(
Again just an idle thraet that they have no intention of carrying out, It's not cost effective, not part of their business plan

You've made my mind, thanks guys, really grateful. Will keep you posted.
  • Hi CBN,

My DH also received a 'fine' from G24 Ltd, about 5 years ago.

I did lots of research at the time on PCN's and we decided to ignore the demand.

It was very scary receiving demanding letters with the 'fine' getting higher & higher - we also received letters purporting to be from the solicitors of G24 ltd, giving us so many days notice of their intention to take us to court.

The guys on the forum were spot on, we simply ignored all requests for payment, after approx 6 months, never heard anything else!

    Good luck & don't worry!
