£1.50 for 3 days unlimited internet

As a pay-as-you-go light user, I do very occassionally know that I may need the internet a bit more than normal on the odd occassion.

I have found https://www.opensurfuk.com offer 3 day (72 hour) unlimited internet access for £1.50, paid for by text message. This would be good for the very occassional heavy weekend. They have a pro-rata 6 day and 9 day version too.

Has anybody used the 3-day service? It is a reliable connection?

I find it hard to understand how you can beat https://www.fast4.net at £6-99 a month (£1-75p a week) "unlimited"
People pay more for their weekend newspapers!

I accept there are some very cheap internet deals, attractive to most low user pay as you go customers, such as the service you mention or even cheaper deals such as £5.99 from https://www.dmcdial.net for 40 hours any time per month, but as I spend generally spend under £1 per month on 0845 dial up, the opensurfuk 3-day option seemed like a useful add-on if I know I may use it heavily one weekend.
