PPI's

in Credit cards
Hi was wondering if anyone can help or advise me. I am currently recieving at least 2-3 calls per week from various company's trying to take up my case to reclaim PPI from my credit card. I am very wary of doing this but decided there must be something in it so started looking through my old bills. I have realised that for the duration that i have had my credit card I have been and am still paying PPI.
I first took out my CC over 6yrs ago at my local bank, and whilst I can't remember the date and exact content of the actual meeting, I know that I would'nt have taken this insurance out knowingly as:
a) I was still living at home at the time
b) I was working and still work in a successful family business, so PPI is a waste of money as it is very unlikely the business would fold or my Dad would sack me!
Do I go to the bank or is there someone I can contact to take on my case as I don't like to give personal details out to companys who ring you up randomly and ask for your business.
Any advice would be greatly recieved!

Hi
First I would contact the bank to cancel the policy going forward. You will certainly be entitled to do that.
The go here Reclaim PPI & Other Insurance and read the guides to see if you might have a claim that it was missold or a claim to have what you have paid refunded.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
