    Add some baking powder - the quantities to flour should be on the side of the pack :D

  • i made some lovely wholemeal dumplings last week, when had run out of all other flour, half quantity of suet to flour, 3 teaspoons of baking powder and chopped parsley, paprika and seasoning, lovely and fluffy and healthy!!!!
    £5000 debt cleared thanks to MSE advice :money:

    My wife has a WI recipe boxset with low fat recipes which we've misplaced since our move. Does anyone have this boxset and, if so, could you post the recipe for the dumplings that uses natural yoghurt instead of suet please?

    Just wanted to say thankyou for recipies on here...I made dumplings for the first time last night (usually I use the packet ones) and they were fab!!! Thanks again xx
