There is a booth of the public transport company at Prague airport where you can buy tickets and 3 or 7 day pasess for all the public transport in town and allow you also to take the bus/underground to and from the airport. They provide you also with maps with directions to go to town from the airport. I bought a 7 day pass this summer for less than 10 euros. Before leaving print form the internet travel directions to your hotel, so you won't need a taxi.0
